My love for video production began at a young age filming skateboarding  videos  and school projects. My passion for using the art of video to tell stories and engage an audience followed me through high school and into  college. I attended The University of Texas at Dallas and received a Bachelor of Arts in Arts & Technology in 2010. After completing university I entered the world of freelance video  production, networking and learning from veterans in the industry, and further honing my skills and developing a personal style.

Around 2013 I joined a scrappy tech journalism startup based out of Palo Alto / Dallas / Boston who produced and broadcasted a live web show at enterprise technology conferences around the world. I led a team of 6 video producers who traveled the globe and covered 60+ events per year including EMC World, Dell World, and interviewing notable guests as John Cleese, Mark Shuttleworth, and Michael Dell. We pioneered live broadcast technology years before it developed enough to be open to the masses. This fast-paced working environment instilled abilities in me that are still proving fruitful to this day, as is the knowledge of foundational live broadcasting and event production. 

In 2015 I pivoted to the agency life when I was approached by multiple content marketing agencies who wanted to offer video production services and needed me to develop and launch their brand offerings. In succession I lead and grew the video production services at these agencies for the next few years. It was exciting working in a space that was so varied from my past experience, allowing me to increase my social media and marketing expertise. Working for an agency is similar to working freelance, I sought out and worked with clients that came to the agency for support. I filmed advertisements for them and assisted with the social strategy as they shared the content online.

In 2018 I returned to focusing solely on my own freelance operations, assisting an ever growing roster of 70+ clients at this point. From lifestyle, corporate events, commercial, documentary, residential, cooking, I have developed a level of confidence telling stories in these genres and more.
